Renovation Trust
Homeowner and Contractor Protection
Homeowner and Contractor Protection
As a contractor, using Renovation Trust means you never have to chase another customer for money again. When a homeowner funds the project, you know your money is there. Your money is always protected. Renovation Trust is a third party that protects both you, the contractor, and the homeowner during any renovation or home improvement project.
Not sure if your customer will want to use Renovation Trust?
Like contractors, homeowners too are at risk of being ripped off during a home renovation or home improvement project. We protect both the contractor and the homeowner to ensure neither party loses their money.
The homeowner deposits the project funds upfront into their Renovation Trust account before starting a project. This does not mean the contractor will receive these funds at once but rather the contractor knows they will get paid upon completion of milestones. With Renovation Trust, homeowners never have to give a deposit or a pre-payment to a contractor.
Along with protecting your money, Renovation Trust offers a wide variety of tools to help both homeowners and contractors better manage their projects. Upload any documents, quotes, contracts, progress or inspirational photos to help better manage your project. Better project management leads to less misunderstanding, making for an easier build.
Once you have created a project, you can invite your customer to join your project by logging into your Renovation Trust account through the app or website and clicking the Invite Your Customer button. Once your customer has accepted the invite, both you and your customer can upload photos, documents and manage milestones together. For less misunderstanding and an easy, stress-free build, any changes made by either party must be approved by the other.
When using our app, you can invite your customer through an SMS/text message or an email sent directly from your device.
After filling out your customer's information, we will send them, on your behalf, an invite to join your project.
