Homeowner and Contractor Protection

Our Purpose

Our Logo reflects our core purpose of protecting your money.

Our Purpose

At Renovation Trust our core purpose is to Protect Your Money during a renovation, home improvement project or large purchase.

As a homeowner, by protecting your money, it also protects your project, your assets, your home, and your family.

As a contractor, by protecting your money, it also protects your business, your livelihood, and your family.

As a homeowner you will never give a deposit or a prepayment to a contractor. You will never put you or your money at risk. You will deposit the cost of the project into Renovation Trust where it will be held in a Renovation Trust account until the contractor completes the work, requests a payment, you inspect the work and approve the payment. The contractor receives no money until you, the homeowner, inspect, approve the work and approve Renovation Trust releasing the money.

This means the contractor must do the work properly - in a professional manner - before they receive any money. If they fail to do the job properly or they quit or go missing, your money is not gone. Your money is safe in the Renovation Trust account.

As the contractor, you know the client has the money to pay for the job - it's deposited into a Renovation Trust account. The project is paid for 100%. Secondly, you know that as you complete the job in a professional manner you will be paid at milestones and on completion. Thirdly, where most contractors get burned, is that final payment of usually 10-25% of the total price. Now as the client has already paid all the money, all you need to do is complete the project to collect the final payment. The client has no reason to hold it back so long as the job is done properly as they do not have the money nor could they have used it for other purposes. The money is there for you. Your money is protected and waiting for you to complete a milestone or the completion of the project. You work too hard not to get paid.

In case there is a dispute for any reason, we offer dispute resolution services. In most cases we can assist in bringing about a resolution where everyone is happy, and the homeowner has their project satisfactorily done and the contractor is paid. In cases where a dispute cannot be resolved with dispute resolution, the money is held by Renovation Trust until the matter is resolved either between the 2 parties, an arbitrator, or the courts. We protect your money for both the homeowner and the contractor!

Protect your money on every renovation, home improvement or large purchase. Don't let anyone or any event separate you from your hard-earned money. Protect your money with Renovation Trust. Protecting your money is what we do! It's our core purpose.
